Write up from the Bride:
I have always loved everything about the fall season, so when it came time to plan our wedding I knew that an autumn inspired theme was the way to go. The Coto Valley Country Club was the perfect location because it allowed for us to have an outdoor ceremony on the grass with a beautiful gazebo, and then enjoy the indoor ballroom for the reception. With the fall leaves, lush green tree backdrops, indoor chandeliers and dark wood floors...my groom and I loved every single thing about this venue. One of the best parts is that the wedding venue allowed for a horse drawn carriage for my grand entrance...and of course the guests loved it! We also had a sparkler exit along with numerous other elements we wished to incorporate that some venues might not allow. It was the perfect setting that made for an amazing wedding day. For my wedding gown, I wanted something simple yet elegant. I chose a form fitting lace gown with a sweetheart neckline and beaded straps. The low back with lace design was another perfect touch. The groom wore a burgundy shawl lapel tuxedo with black pants, black vest and a black bow tie for a modern twist on the classic tuxedo look, and it just so happened to fit our autumn theme perfectly. The groomsmen matched the groom's look, while the bridesmaids wore long blush pink dresses to go with the men's burgundy attire. For the tablescape, we wanted an array of fall decor including white pumpkins, fall leaves and tall white candles in glass vases. Our colors included gold, burgundy, blush and ivory which provided a lot of the inspiration for our decor. Our wedding was truly made special by all the people that were there to celebrate with us, and our amazing team of vendors that made all of our dreams become a reality!
