The biggest night in television happened this Sunday when the 2017 Emmys took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Stars lined the red carpet in the hottest fashion and styles by top designers in the industry. It's a black tie event where these celebrities really show off some of their best looks all year. We, of course, love to see what men's fashion trends are making a splash in the industry. From classic black tie to something a little bolder, the celebrities on the red carpet did not disappoint for the 2017 Emmys. This year, Donald Glover got props for his pure purple ensemble. This bold look stood out from the crowd of celebrities in classic black tuxedos. We loved the white dinner jackets, and of course the looks that incorporated navy into their ensemble rounded out our favorites. Check out all the details and how to create your own look below.

Blue Tuxedos and Suits

Blue continues to be a trend on the red carpet, especially for the celebrities wanting a change from the traditional black tuxedo but still following the black tie dress code. Take a look at some of our favorite looks below.

The trend that is sweeping the red carpet...velvet! Colin Jost, the host of the Saturday Night Live skit Weekend Update, rocked a navy blue velvet coat with his black tuxedo pants.
